چکیده
The demand for ornamental fish is currently increasing while the availability in nature decreasing due to overfishing. Clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris) a type of marine that widely kept aquariums, but problem rapid decline water quality activity these fish. recirculation system one way can be used management. study aimed analyze filter stabilize seawater clownfish (rearing containers. This research was conducted from January April 2021 at Research Centre Sibolga Fisheries College. method an experimental using one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatment levels and three replications. treatments this were P0 (unfiltered), P1 (cotton filter), P2 (fiber P3 (activated charcoal filter). 2 – 3 cm size, aquarium measuring 60x40x40cm stocking density fish/L fed tubifex times day, 08.00 18.00 WIB as much 5% their body weight. Parameters measured temperature, pH, DO, salinity, ammonia, phosphate, abundance bacteria, phytoplankton, survival clownfish. Water measurements are carried out every 7 days. results obtained improvement analysis cultivation provide influence on rearing container. temperature 27.9–28.0 0C, pH 8.3–8.4, DO 7.5–8.0 mg/L, salinity 33-34 ppt, ammonia 0.04–0.06 phosphate 0.47–0.48 mg/L bacterial 2.35x104 CFU/mL rate 95.55%.

Consistent behavioural traits and behavioural syndromes in pairs of the false clown anemonefish Amphiprion ocellaris.
Using the social clown anemonefish Amphiprion ocellaris, whether individuals exhibited consistency in activity levels, boldness and sociability in a paired context, and whether these three behavioural traits were positively correlated within a single behavioural syndrome, was investigated. The results highlight that consistent individual differences in behaviour are expressed in a social fish a...

متن کاملImmunohistochemistry of Brain Arginine Vasotocin and Isotocin in False Clown Anemonefish Amphiprion ocellaris
The brain nanopeptides arginine vasotocin and isotocin are considered to be involved in the regulation of social and reproductive behavior in teleosts. We investigated the immunoreactivity of brain arginine vasotocin and isotocin neurons in four pairs of the protandrous false clown anemonefish Amphiprion ocellaris (Cuvier, 1830). After 450 days of pairing, the social rank of each individual was...

Article history: Received: 18 February 2016 Accepted: 27 September 2016 Published online: 3 November 2016 Abstract Neoplasia affecting a variety of tissues has been documented in many fish species. However, there are few reports of neoplasia in the common clownfish, Amphiprion ocellaris. An adult female clownfish in a public display aquarium was diagnosed with a locally invasive tubular carcino...
متن کاملOpposite effects of nonapeptide antagonists on paternal behavior in the teleost fish Amphiprion ocellaris.
The nonapeptides isotocin (IT) and arginine vasotocin (AVT), along with their mammalian homologs oxytocin and arginine vasopressin, are well known regulators of social behaviors across vertebrate taxa. However, little is known about their involvement in paternal care. Here, we measured the effect of an IT and an AVT V1a receptor antagonist on paternal behaviors in the primarily paternal teleost...
